The Heavy Duty TV Stand
This TV Stand came to be because of a concept I was kicking around. I needed something to put a 32 inch CRT TV on. Which, of course weighs about 200lbs. Plus, I wanted space for my center speaker, Xbox, DVD player, VCR (yes I still have a VCR), and a few other old school gaming systems and electronics, including the receiver.
So, I designed this TV stand to fir the bill. It is made to hold around 400 to 500 pounds. Meaning, no bowing in the center like the crappy press board pieces you can buy at the big box stores.
It's a little monolithic and way over built, but it works. I'll work on refining the design on the next one.
